CRD launch Auto Therapy online

Auto Therapy, an alloy wheel refurbishment company from Doncaster, came to Crossroads Design after becoming increasingly disillusioned with their current web development company. They challenged us to redevelop their website within an extremely tight budget and at the same time helping to start their social marketing presence.

The solution was to use the WordPress blogging platform to provide the content management platform for the site and automatically linking the system upto their Facebook & Twitter accounts enabling them to automatically send their blog posts to their Facebook & Twitter subscribers in addition to their normal posts.

The WordPress platform also enabled us to work very closely with Auto Therapy to search engine optimise their site for several different keywords.

Crossroads help to relaunch YourWashbag.com

CRD have today relaunch the YourWashbag.com site with a complete design overall and moving it from the Zen Cart e-commerce platform to the Interspire e-commerce platform.

Having worked with CRD across all areas of their business since its founding in 2007, YourWashbag.com asked CRD to help update their website.

CRD launch Target Sports Website

CRD to have launched the new Target Sports website. Target Sports is Britain’s best technical magazine about guns and ammunition, and is now available online.

CRD were involved right from the start of this project, working across all areas including implementing our own inhouse magazine Content Management System.

Is your website letting you down?

What does your website say about you? Do you cringe everytime someone asks you for your website address?

A website is an ever evolving being that must be treated as such. If it is left on its own it will very quickly become out of date, Google will start to down grade its ranking of the site.

At Crossroads Design, we believe that a successful website is all about on going maintenance. This doesn’t have to be wholesale changes to the site every couple of weeks, but it does need to evolve as quickly as the business it is representing. There are two common ways to updates a website depending on how frequently the updates…

Static Websites – These tend to be smaller sites that don’t require updating that often so it can be cheaper to pay a web designer to do the updates rather than building a CMS.
Content Managed Websites – These tend to be larger sites where they is a lot of new content being added. This could be anything from a Product Catalogue to a Magazine. It is also possible to combine the two methods, and only content manage certain areas of a website.
